CHANGE THE STAGE, NOT THE STANCE…
The first two seasons of the campaign have carved out a territory as wide open
as the Yampa Valley. We’ve proven the Steamboat Way can give voice to our timeless, Western ski town values. And it can plug deals on airfare, lodging, sVIP experiences, etc.
But as we reach out to an equally broad audience, let’s expand from cowboy poetry into a language everyone can understand, embrace – and maybe even sing along with.
Just as our cowboy poetry needed to ring true, the music and lyrics of this campaign are legit, too. The words capture what’s special about Steamboat without resorting to selling points or speaking too overtly to our target audiences. Musically, the tunes stand on their own as real, well-crafted songs vs. historical jingles.
